Have you ever walked into a temple basement in the middle of the summer?
You might have notice how it remains remarkably cool, despite what the outside temperature might be. There is no air-condition yet you feel comfortable and pleasant.
Why does this happen?
The temple basement is actually underground where the soil is a lot cooler. This in turn cools the walls of the basement. When you walk into the basement, heat from your body (at a higher temperature) will flow / radiate to the walls (at a lower temperature). This is what keeps you cool.
Hydronic Radiant Cooling works on the same principle. Our system cools the entire structure of your premises using our innovative climatic grids.

Conventional air-conditioners operate on a completely different principle. It will first cool the air which is then blow and circulated through out the premise. This is an inefficient way of cooling. Air is a very good insulating medium and hence is not conducive for transfer of energy. You might have observed that animals in some of the coldest places on earth have a thick fur (polar bears). The fur traps the air and insulates their body to help keep their body warm.
Since the HRC system works on the principle of radiation, we are able to save on the additional cost required to first cool the air which is then used to cool the premise. By using cold water which circulates through our climatic grids, we are able to drastically reduce energy costs.
In the table below, we have shown a basic comparison between a HRC system and a conventional air-conditioning system. Please note that this is just an estimate and will vary for every situation.

- Research shows that HRC systems can reduce energy costs by up to 70%
- Since there is no need for ducts, you can save on construction costs and get increased space
- HRC system is more hygienic since there is no chance of mold formation due to the lack of ducts
- Since the entire structure is cooled, you will achieve uniform temperature throughout your premises
- The system is silent and invisible since it is embedded within the structure of the building
- There are no moving parts and hence you benefit from reduced maintenance costs
- The core system has a lifetime of 50 years
