In what aspect is HRC more comfortable then conventional A.C.?
Conventional A.C. cools the air, by creating an air draft and circulating it, thereby bringing down the air temperature and temperature of objects that are in direct path of the cool air flow to 22 C - 24 C, whereas all the other objects, walls and the building mass will continue to have a high temperature of 24 C - 30 C depending on the location and orientation of the premise. Such objects and the building mass continue to emit heat in your premise, resulting in varying comfort levels to the occupants. On the other hand, the HRC solution cools all the building mass, furniture, fixtures and objects very close to set temperature of the cooling system thereby creating a climate like a mild Indian winter. The cooled building mass draws heat from the occupants creating a soothing effect of cooling comfort and the premise air temperature also drops down due to natural convection of air molecules. The entire premise will have a uniform temperature without any varying temperature pockets
How safe is Thermal Radiation?
Thermal Radiation is a process that occurs daily in our lives. The heat from the oven, the chillness of the cold winter morning, these are all examples of the principle of Thermal Radiation. Thermal Radiation (Heat) flow occurs in the IR band, whereas the harmful radiation occurs in the X-ray, UV, microwave and other bands.

Installation and Technical Details
What is Climatic Grid?
Climatic Grid is a Heat Exchanger made out of special plastics for efficient heat exchange through which the chilled water flows for extraction of heat from the premise.
Will all my walls be laid with climatic grids for HRC solution?
We shall lay the climatic grids only in the false ceiling or your RCC ceiling (if there is no false ceiling). In rare situation we may opt for certain walls to be laid with climatic grids depending on the orientation of your premise and the heat load.
Is there any moisture or dampness created in such walls or ceiling where the climatic grid is installed?
Absolutely not, it is a closed loop system where there is no loss of water due to evaporation. The A.C. system
(part of Hybrid Cooling system) will control the humidity of the premise always below 65%, and ensure that there will be no condensation, moisture or dampness on the walls. Also the dew point sensors on the ceiling / wall surface will continuously monitor the dew point conditions and regulate the chilled water flow into the climatic grids and prevent any condensation on them.
Does the flow of liquid through the climatic grid make any noise?
The entire system is noiseless. In fact, the system is so quiet that you will probably initially miss the noise and clatter that comes with conventional air-conditioning!
Can I remove the false ceiling with the grid and move to another location?
If you have opted for a modular form of installation over conventional installation method for your false ceiling with climatic grid then this is possible.
Can I have my recess mounted, lighting fixtures and speakers installed with the climatic grid in the ceiling without compromising its location?
Yes the capillaries from the climatic grid are flexible. You can fix any size of such fittings along with the climatic grid into the ceilings.
Is there any adverse effect on the paint finish of the ceilings or the walls where such climatic grid is installed?
No the system does not affect the actual ceilings or walls in any way.
How do you prevent the formation of blockage (scaling, sludge, rusting etc) in the pipes, over a period of time?
The secondary water cycle through the climatic grids is always separated from the primary water cycle by a high-quality heat exchanger and a strainer. The water used to circulate through the entire closed loop system is distilled water free from dissolved salts, and the water also does not need to be replaced. In the secondary cycle consists of the climatic grid with control valves, only corrosion resistant materials such as high quality plastic, brass and stainless steel are used. Due to the special plastic used in the capillaries, the formation of scale deposits in the piping resulting from oxidation products is technically impossible. Sludge through micro-organisms can also not occur due to lack of phosphor and nitrogen combinations. Limestone deposits at operating temperatures between 16 and 40 °C are physically ruled out. Thus it is ensured that the entire system remains absolutely free of blockages even after decades of operation. .
What is the process and methodology for execution of such work?
Refer to our GANTT chart under execution
Is HRC Energy Efficient?
A resounding YES! Energy costs up to 50% can be saved using this technology. (Refer to the University of California Berkeley report) your overall capital tonnage reduces by approximately 50% as well. Also refer to the hypothetical case. The system can also be LEED certified and is eligible for LEED credits.
What is the effect of load shedding?
Thermal storage is one of the many advantages of HRC. The building mass will continue to maintain the coolness in the premise for hours even after the HRC system remains off due to load shedding.
How is Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) maintained?
The HRC system does not remove any moisture or bring in fresh air. For this very reason we recommend Hybrid system with 60% - 80% of HRC and 40 % - 20 % of conventional A.C. Conventional A.C. will take care of the moisture removal thus maintaining RH at . 50 % to 65 % under all situations.
The Hybrid cooling system will also be coupled with fresh air ventilation (refer to ERV section), so as to maintain the CO2 below 1000 ppm (user defined) as per ASHRAE norms. (Please be informed that the split A.C. does not have any fresh air discharge nor any stale air exhausts) Special filters will be used in the ventilation system and the Air Handling Unit for removal of suspended particles and odour from the indoor air.

Commercial
Does it mean I also save on capital cost?
No. Most of the components in the HRC system come from Europe, hence the overall costs are at least twice as higher as normal Air Conditioning costs, but your energy costs are at least 50 % lower.
Due to high capital cost is it possible for funding this technology?
Yes, depending on the customer’s credit report we can arrange for 3rd party financing options for additional cost over conventional Air Conditioning system.
What is the payback period?
For a 24 X 7 application your payback period should be around 2 ½ years and for 12 hour 300 days application it will be around 3 ½ to 4 years.
Does the system have any resale value?
If you have a modular ceiling installation then we can try and find a buyer.
